Southern Federation of Dance - EXAMS
SFD BALLET & JAZZ EXAMS
At Toepaz Dance we offer Southern Federation of Dance Exams both Classical Ballet and Jazz. Students enrolled in SFD exam classes have the opportunity to undertake exams conducted by Southern Federation of Dance. Students are taught and prepared to take an annual examination.
In 2025 there will be the launch of the New FOUNDATIONS LEVEL - For Preps and a revamp of levels 1 to 2
We have had a 100% Pass Rate
Exam classes are for the dedicated dancer who wishes to further improve their dance technique, artistry, musicality and attention to detail as a dancer.
We do recommend our Exam Students to also take up a stretch and technique class to further improve their dance technique development and training.
Exams can be held either End of Term 2 (if students have been learning the syllabus level over 2 years or end of Term 3 for students learning the syllabus over 1 year. These exams are held at Toepaz Dance Studio - 9 Silver Grove, Nunawading
NOTE: these exams are optional – additional charges apply
Students receive a certificate and medal upon passing their exam and will then move up a level the following year exam

OWN BALLET SYLLABUS - NEW IN 2024
Toepaz Dance Studio is excited to implement its very own ballet syllabus on top of our SFD Ballet Program in 2024. These exercises will be new and specific exercises per level to continue to strengthen, condition and improve our students ballet technique in class.
